About Raffalamity Cocker Spaniels

We are a small close knit family devoted to our 4 dogs and cat.
Tina - a Registered Childminder and has recently gained a recognized qualification in canine psychology. She has also studied professional dog grooming at Myerscough College.
In addition Tina has brought each of our dogs up to the Gold Standard under the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Oobedience Award Scheme.
Her Husband has a degree in construction science and has just completed his Day skipper Practical and Theory Qualifications with the RYA.
Our children – Daniel, Molly and Jacob share our love of dogs and always want just one more.
We chose to have puppies with Raff and Ashley first and foremost because they are both outstanding examples of the breed and we know we would regret not having done so.
This is Calamity's third litter and continues our desire to learn and see success from breeding from our own dogs.
Happily, we have been very successful in breeding Cocker Spaniels and we keep in regular touch with all our extended family.
Our aim is to produce puppies who can lead a long, healthy and happy life as companions to loving owners. We feel that the knowledge and experience we have gained over the years more than adequately qualifies us in this task.

We hope you enjoy our blog and gain some small insight into the sheer delight of watching new born puppies as they grow, learn and prepare for home.

Our rescue dog Honey and the story so far....

Twelve years ago we responded to an advert asking for a good home for a Cocker Spaniel puppy. Its owners were re-locating and they couldn’t take her with them. Well, Honey came to inspect her wannabe owners and from that visit we are where we are now. Honey entered our lives took over our lives made a huge mess of our home, and we never looked back!
We always intended a companion for Honey but rather than one playmate, she rather unexpectedly got two – Molly and Jacob our youngest children and there we left it.
Until that is a short time after when Rafferty arrived and then Calamity not long afterwards.
Calamity's first born was a daughter - Millie; a beautiful solid black girl who we adored. Millie has stayed with us.

Calamity

Calamity is a beautiful, deep red golden girl. Born of Champions She is a devoted mum and lovable companion. Her best friend is her daughter Millie they are inseparable and together they play and act like 2 naughty pups.

Rafferty

Rafferty is our first male He's black and tan and Millie's father. As our only male dog he really does have a dog's life amongst all the girls. He does take it with good grace however....well mostly!

Millie

Milllie........Millie....Millie. Oh dear! Deep shiny black and mischief personified. Truly irresistible.
